MAKE A PAYMENT
During the regular Board of Aldermen meeting last Thursday, February 9th, the Board voted unanimously to close the lobby of the Administration Building on Fridays each week and utilize the drive-thru only for utility payments. This will be effective Friday, February 17, 2023. The drive-thru is available during normal working hours Monday thru Friday. There will be someone in the office working during normal business hours on Fridays to process drive-thru payments and answer telephone calls. The drop box and online payment system will always be available 24/7 for anyone wishing to make payments by those options. FEES DISCLAIMER:
The City of East Prairie uses Efexsys to process payments. Efexsys charges the following fees:
Credit/Debit Card: Under $50 = $2.50 Flat Fee
Credit/Debit Card Over $50 = $2.50 + 2.8%*
E-check: $1
*Maximum allowable charge $5,000
Please note that The City of East Prairie DOES NOT receive any of these fees. All service fees go to Efexsys. There will be two items on your statement. The first is the amount due, which goes to the City. The second is the service fee amount, which goes to Efexsys.
